In the minds of the terrorists

I ran across this and thought it was interesting.

What [people] don’t understand is that terrorism, whether in Tel Aviv, NYC, or Madrid, doesn’t stem primarily from Muslim poverty, US foreign policy, or Israeli settlements. In the minds of the terrorists Islam requires jihad, the murder of unbelievers, and the terrorists are not distorting the Islamic holy writings.
